PASTORAL CARE

Hi Everybody,

We are almost reaching the first half of Term 2. Time is running out fast and it is hard to keep up with everything. To value time is a wise decision.

There are Pastoral Care Programs after school, so children can learn to value this time. They can at least learn something different, in the out of school hours, while being with different children in the same setting. Sometimes the pastoral care class may change location or it might be the same. However, every student has varying strengths to positively impact on human life in different environments.

For this term, the Pastoral Care Program for boys will continue. Students really enjoy it.

Sirius College, Shepparton also operates a similar program for girls from Grade 4-6 and Years 7/8. During these times, we are happy to be helped by Mrs. Seyma, our teachers’ aide, from our supportive staff. She is mentoring in different activities such as cooking, sewing e.g. cross-stitching. Students find these activities very relaxing and they all like being a part of pastoral care.
